We build the website. Then we fix what happens after the phone rings.

Websites, custom software and automation. We work out which one you actually need, then we build it properly, then we hand you the keys.

Websites

Your website has one job. Actually, several.

In order: say what you do in one screen. Prove it with real work and real reviews. Make the next step obvious, a number you can tap and a form that asks five questions instead of fifteen. Then load in under a second on a phone, because that is where your customers are.

Three pages that say what you do and a form that asks the right five questions beat forty pages nobody reads. And if the job is "make people remember us," we can do that too: a price calculator customers actually use, a page that shows your work, something people send to their neighbour.

The work behind the website

The quote becomes the job. The job becomes the invoice.

The part of the business nobody sees and everybody feels. We build the piece that connects it, or the whole thing when nothing fits.

  • Bookings that double up.
  • Quotes retyped into invoices.
  • Customers phoning to ask where things are.
  • Staff schedules on a whiteboard.
  • One person who knows everything, on holiday.

Bookings that can't double up. Quotes that become invoices without anyone retyping them. A page where customers check on their job instead of calling. A roster the whole crew can see from their phone. You will never hear us call it "digital transformation."

The boring parts

Done by computers.

Copying, reminding, chasing, filing. If a person does it the same way every day, a small machine can do it instead, and it won't forget.

Integrations, automation, and AI where it earns its place. We also use calculators. The important part is choosing the right tool and knowing when not to.

After launch

Then we stay, or we hand over. Your call.

We can host it, keep an eye on it, back it up and maintain it on a monthly plan. Or we hand it over with plain instructions for the next person, who may be you.

Either way, your content, data and project deliverables are yours, with licensed services and reusable Curveball tooling identified separately in the agreement. If we vanished tomorrow, someone else could pick it up. We'd rather you didn't test that.

Packages

Five packages. One offering.

Not three ladders for websites, marketing and systems. One ladder. Launch already looks finished. What the higher packages buy is scope, creative development and operational depth, not basic competence withheld from the cheaper ones.

01

Refresh

No monthly fee

From $300, subject to the agreed scope

Improve a defined part of an existing setup.

What Refresh covers

Who it is for

A business with a website or a process that mostly works, and a short list of things that do not.

The initial project can include

  • Homepage and mobile layout improvements.
  • Clearer menu, service or contact information.
  • Form corrections.
  • Selected visual refinements.
  • A defined improvement to an existing process.

Scope

Work happens inside what you already have. No new platform, and no whole site rebuild.

Monthly management covers

None required. You keep your existing hosting and software arrangements, and those charges still apply.

Separate from the plan

Anything outside the agreed list, new pages, a rebuild, and your existing software and hosting bills.

For example

A cafe’s existing site becomes easier to use, with a visible menu, accurate hours and a clearer catering link.

02

Launch

$39/month

Initial project quoted to scope.

Create a polished, complete digital foundation.

What Launch covers

Who it is for

A business that needs a proper website and a reliable way for customers to get in touch.

The initial project can include

  • Bespoke website, generally 1 to 3 core pages.
  • Mobile responsive layouts.
  • Supplied content organised into a clear experience.
  • Standard enquiry form and notifications.
  • Essential search setup and agreed analytics.
  • Links or supported embeds for existing booking and ordering tools.

Scope

Bespoke, not a template. Fewer pages means a narrower scope, not a lesser standard.

Monthly management covers

Hosting, SSL, appropriate backup and recovery arrangements, monitoring, and maintenance of the agreed website.

Separate from the plan

Ongoing content creation, new pages, redesigns, new features and unlimited edits.

For example

A cafe’s Home, Menu and Visit pages, with clear customer actions and a reliable enquiry route.

03

Business

$99/month

Initial project quoted to scope.

Develop the website around multiple customer needs and one connected business process.

What Business covers

Who it is for

A business whose website should be doing real work, not just sitting there being correct.

The initial project can include

  • Bespoke website, generally 4 to 8 core pages.
  • More developed page structure and customer journeys.
  • Editable content where required.
  • Blog or news capability.
  • More tailored enquiry forms.
  • One defined connected customer workflow.
  • Agreed analytics events.

Scope

The website stops being a brochure and starts being the front door to something organised.

Monthly management covers

Website hosting and maintenance, appropriate backups, checks on the included connections, and monitoring of the agreed workflow.

Separate from the plan

New workflows, new features, redesigns, content production, and external software or usage charges.

For example

A cafe has dedicated catering information, and enquiries become an organised record with an acknowledgement, an owner notification and a follow up reminder.

04

Signature

$249/month

Initial project quoted to scope.

Create a distinctive digital experience connected to a defined operational journey.

What Signature covers

Who it is for

A business where the experience out front and the work out back both need to be right.

The initial project can include

  • More substantial creative direction.
  • Bespoke layouts and selected interactions.
  • Tailored customer journeys.
  • Defined connected operational workflows.
  • A dashboard or portal where specifically scoped.
  • Appropriate permissions and approval steps.
  • Selected AI assisted functions where useful.

Scope

Defined by how much of the operation it touches, not by page count. A small site can sit on a serious workflow.

Monthly management covers

Hosting and maintenance of the agreed site or application, monitoring of included workflows and connections, database care where relevant, appropriate backups, and scoped support.

Separate from the plan

Work outside the agreed scope, new workflows, external subscriptions and usage based services.

For example

A cafe’s catering process connects enquiries, owner approved quotes, payment status, preparation tasks and customer reminders.

These are examples of a scoped project, not unlimited standard inclusions.

05

Enterprise

Custom

Quoted following discovery

Design around more complex users, locations, permissions, integrations and business rules.

What Enterprise covers

Who it is for

Multiple locations or business lines, several kinds of user, and rules that are genuinely yours.

The initial project can include

  • Multiple locations or business lines.
  • Different customer, staff and management interfaces.
  • Custom permissions.
  • Specialised integrations.
  • Shared operational records.
  • Advanced applications and controlled AI assistance.

Scope

Scoped in phases so you are using part of it before all of it exists.

Monthly management covers

Custom. Price depends on infrastructure, usage, integrations, operational requirements and the agreed support.

Separate from the plan

Defined per phase in the project agreement.

For example

Quoted after discovery, because the honest answer depends on what we find.

Start a Project

Every new build from Launch upward is bespoke: the composition, the presentation and the customer experience are designed for your business. It does not mean every component is written from scratch, because reusing sound infrastructure is how you get a better site for the money. Page counts are a guide, not the measure of a project, and listed functionality shows what a package can include rather than what every project gets. CAD.

You can start where you are.

Moving up does not mean throwing away your website or bolting on pages you do not need. A three page site can sit on a genuinely sophisticated workflow. We build on the foundation you already paid for.

What the monthly plan is

Your monthly plan keeps your agreed Curveball built website or system hosted, maintained and monitored. Initial development, new features and significant changes are quoted separately.

  • Launch and above use Curveball managed hosting while you are on the service.
  • Refresh stays on your existing system, and your existing software charges still apply.
  • External subscriptions, usage based services and applicable taxes are identified separately unless expressly included.
  • Monthly management is not unlimited design or development.
  • The specific maintenance, backup and support commitments are set out in the agreed scope.

How a project runs.

  1. DiscoverWhat the business actually does, not the org chart version.
  2. ScopeWritten down, including what is not in it.
  3. DesignThe journey first, then the screens.
  4. BuildProperly. In stages where it helps.
  5. TestKeyboard, phone, and the awkward cases.
  6. LaunchWith the documentation written for humans.
  7. ManageHosted, maintained and monitored on your plan.
See it working

One business, built five ways.

The same cafe at every package: the same logo, the same twelve items at the same prices. Click through a Refresh and an Enterprise and feel the difference, rather than read about it.

The same cafe homepage after a Refresh: three agreed fixes, inside what was already there. Compare it with Original in the bar along the bottom.

/demo/fern-and-flour/after/index.html Open in a new tab (the Refresh example)

Fern & Flour is a demonstration, not a client. The business is not real, nothing on it can be ordered or booked, and no payment is ever taken or held. What the dearer packages buy is scope, creative development and operational depth, not a better brand: section 3 of our build standard forbids that, and the examples keep to it.

In development

Curveball Create

A client operated tool for preparing content, not a marketing retainer with a person doing it for you.

This is a proposed tool, not a current inclusion. It is not built, not connected to any account, and not part of what you pay for today.

The intended workflow

  1. Upload material
  2. Add context
  3. Generate drafts
  4. Review
  5. Publish through supported connections

What it would draft

  • Social captions and content variations
  • Blog drafts
  • Newsletter copy
  • Website announcements
  • Promotional text

How it would grow with the package

  • Business. Bounded basic content preparation for one business.
  • Signature. Additional formats, scheduling, and supported publishing and approval workflows.
  • Enterprise. Multiple brands or locations, permissions, and custom connections.

The practical questions.

The ones that decide whether a package is right, rather than the ones that sound good on a homepage.

Want to see one working? Every package is running further up this page.

What is the difference between the initial cost and the monthly cost?

The initial project is the design and build, quoted to the scope we agree before anything starts. The monthly plan is what keeps the finished thing hosted, maintained and monitored afterwards. They are separate, and both are written down.

Do I have to host with you?

On Launch and above, yes: the plan includes Curveball managed hosting while you are on the service. Refresh is different, because that work happens inside your existing setup and you keep your current hosting and software arrangements.

Is maintenance the same as new development?

No. Maintenance keeps what we built working: updates, monitoring, backups on hosted plans, and fixing things that break. New pages, new features and redesigns are new work, and they are quoted separately.

Can we keep the tools and accounts we already use?

Usually, and we would rather you did. We link or embed supported booking and ordering tools instead of replacing things that already work. Where a tool genuinely gets in the way, we will say so and explain why.

What do you need from us?

Content, photos, and someone who can make decisions. Projects slow down over approvals far more often than over code, so we agree in advance who signs off and at which points.

Do you do logos, brochures and print?

Yes, as separately scoped work. Logos, business cards, brochures and flyers are quoted as their own project rather than bundled into a monthly package, because they are not things you need a new one of every month.

Can we move up a package later?

Yes, and it rarely means starting again. We build on what is already there, and a small site can connect to a much larger workflow without growing a single page.

What about software that is not yours?

External subscriptions, usage based services and applicable taxes are identified separately unless the scope expressly includes them. You will see what is a Curveball fee and what is somebody else's bill.

Who owns it, and what if we leave?

Your content, your data and the deliverables built for your project are yours. Licensed third party services and reusable Curveball tooling are identified separately. Ownership and any transition arrangements are set out in the project agreement, and there are no cancellation penalties invented on this page.
